The best gifts for runners are personal. They already own the gear, so give them their route, their pace joke, or the date of the race they will not stop talking about. Here are seven ideas, and one question to ask first.
Seven ideas
A route mug. Their usual loop as a single clean line.
A race-date tote. The date and one line, for carrying the post-run bag.
A pace-joke shirt. "Slow is a pace" works for more runners than you would think.

A water bottle with the club name. A small mark and the year, nothing more.
A hoodie for the cold start. The coordinates of the start line, small, on the chest.
A thank-you for the running buddy. A shared design for two.
A set for the whole group. The same mark on a mug and a tote, so the club has one look.
Ask one question first
What does the runner joke about? A good place to start is the in-joke. If you do not know, ask a running partner.
By kind of runner
The beginner. Something encouraging and small, like a mug with the date of their first race. Avoid anything that sounds like a target.
The marathoner. Their finishing year and the city, in quiet type. They already have the medal.
The trail runner. A map line of a favourite trail, or a short line about mud.
The club organiser. A thank-you with the whole club's mark. They hold the group together, and a gift that shows it is rarer than a medal.
Make it without learning design
Tell Pablit's design assistant who it is for and what they joke about. It makes the design, shows it on the product, and you change it in plain words. Each item is made to order, one at a time, with no minimum order.
